A lack of this awareness tends to lead people to seek to live their life like others and not as God intended for them. A rampant example is the high number of people who want to live their lives like the celebrities they see in the media instead of looking up to God and his word for their own lifestyle patterned after biblical characters (Isaiah 51:1-2) and after Christ. This often results in people neglecting to follow their God-given path, which would be a model for others to look up, just as celebrities are looked up to. In short, you are a celebrity in your own right with Christ in you.
